lb61906 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Obviously not the the normal Heritage headstock shape. I also know its not the mandolin or the hockey stock shape. Any thoughts ?????
FredZepp Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 It's a custom design.. There's one out there like this also....
FredZepp Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Whenever an unusual headstock shape shows up, the question that comes to mind is... is it factory done or aftermarket customized ? This one is a " 2002 Super Eagle Custom" that was for sale on Gbase in Oct 2010.. I don't know that we ever got the story beyond that... It seems factory...

HANGAR18 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 If that shape doesn't already have a name, I would call it a Keystone headstock.
hotfordcoupe Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Now there's something you don't usually see these days on the HOC. Not bad at all.
FredZepp Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 The custom Sweet 16 headstock may be an aftermarket by a luthier , but there is some paperwork on the other one here. ( sorry, I can't find a better pic.. )
