Special Invitation To New Members

I'm new! I'm just getting into Hertiage guitars, and am on the hunt for a lefty 575.
My name is Michael, I'm 27, living in Lousiana. I'm a pro photographer, but I'm headed back to school for Computer Science.

Here's a link to my Flickr page, where you can see some of my gear.
Welcome!

there are lots of Photography gurus here...a couple pros, couple former pros, and some really good semi pros :D

I have been lurking here and really like the site. I am a US service member serving overseas and started playing guitar late in life. I am 42 and have been playing for about a year. I have been watching ebay to find an h-150 that I like and can afford. They really seem like great guitars and I want to try to support as many US businesses as I can.

My guitar collection is pretty modest right now: an Epiphone EJ-200 acoustic and a Gretsch 5120.

Welcome aboard. First I want to thank you for serving our country and

help protecting it. I commend you!

I too started playing late in life, 40 for me. I've enjoyed every minute since

I started playing. I bought my first Heritage from Elderly music, a H-555.

You will find a great bunch of people on this sight. They know Heritage inside and

out. Good luck in your search for your first Heritage. You will love it.

Stay safe

Hello and Welcome the HOC... chinaiyf

You are right that the 150 is a great guitar and I know that you'll feel that even more when you have found yours....

We're glad to have you onboard...

Hey! Just signed up, I don't have a Heritage yet, but I'm looking. Talked to Brent the other day....hey Brent, thanks for not hanging up on me! thanks for having me, John

Wow, what a lot of cool new folks here. I bet I read 6 or 7 pages worth of new members, been awhile since I kept up with this thread.

As a Heritage lover, all I can say is I wish you many cool tones and may you find all the notes your hearts desire or talent takes you to.

rock on..

Hello everybody,

my name's Enrico, I'm from Italy and just today I've come into possession of my first Heritage guitar!

An H150CM Classic with a fantabulous flame top (I still have to guess what colour is, though...).

Great instrument.

It's nice to be part of this selected club.

Cheers,

Enrico

Hi Enrico, and Welcome to the HOC. It's traditional to post pictures of your Heritages ( or the natives get restless ! )

If you remove the control cavity cover the finish of your 150 should be written on the label ... eg ASB = Antique Sunburst

... from the HOC gallery ...

First of all, thank you for your welcome and for your indications: you're right, I should be posting some pictures... but I was waiting to make some good ones with my camera...

For now, let's see some done with my iphone.... they don't do any justice, though...

Happy New Guitar Day...

Well, as I said, iphone pictures absolutely don't do justice, but for what are my tastes, this top is excellent: I don't like extreme flames or quilts, my guitar doesn't have to be only for display...

I like subtle flames, mixed with grain and veins: more or less like a real vintage burst...

Ciao, Enrico! Benvenuto!
Grazie Fernando, e' un piacere trovare qualcuno che parla la propria lingua in terra straniera ;-)

Cheers,

Enrico

New to the forum. I have a 535 that I really like. I plan on buying a 150 sometime next year if I can find one locally (in the North West).

Thanks for the pics,Enrico, they came out just fine.... and that's a nice flamey top.

A very sweet looking 150 with that top/finish. I had looked at one like it once , because I do like that combination. Congrats...

And welcome to the HOC, Jericho941, Good luck with your future 150 search.... I'm sure that the 535 is a beauty, I need to add one of those to my list.... any Pics?

Hey, Hiro from Southern Calif. I got a H 150 and its awesome. My camera's batteries burst, so I had to take it to the local toxic processing facility, and will need a new one. But since I just got a H 150 and an amp . . . that will come later.

I work in IT, but this week I'm trying to figure out what I really want in life career wise. But the H 150 is just beautiful. It's a burnt sunburst color, and I swear, I looked at my new guitar for an hour before playing it.

Welcome to the HOC, Hiro...

I can relate to the H150 admiration syndrome.. I always have a Heritage in view even when watching TV... Just makes a person feel good.....

Dang...a lot of new members here! I've really been slacking off in keeping up with this thread. So...

To all the new members...Welcome to The Club!

Speaking of the growing membership base, when I was talking to Ren this afternoon, he was surprised that we were up around 1400 members already. The guys and gals at the factory sure think highly of you folks!

GDub here. I've been a Heritage fan/player since early 2006 when I bought my H-137. It was the 14th one made and the first in TV Yellow. Great guitar! It's been my #1 electric since day one.

Here's a pic taken shortly after I got it:

Since then it's seen a lot of gigs so it's got a little more mojo on it now.

Sláinte!
