Any idea how much a HB-1 is worth?

The GC near me has one for $1000. It doesn't have a case, but that's not a big deal. It appears to be in good condition. And I'd love to have a really rare bass like that.

Not sure but as you know, they don’t pop up everyday. Snag it if you can, especially with you being in the area, you could check it out. Hell, I wouldn’t mind grabbing that one!

I bought this bass. Truss rod was not broken. The headstock had been broken off and very poorly repaired. Sadly unplayable. Fortunately I live in the same state as the legendary Gene Liberty. I felt I owed it to this machine to have it repaired. I will post pics of the finished bass when it once again is playable.
