  2. The paint booth is a huge improvement over the old setup on the third floor. The air is filtered in so that there's no dust to settle on a wet finish. Guitars are hung to dry, and the safety is a big factor as the solvent vapors are kept to a minimum in the room. There is a lot less wood dust in the shop itself. They invested a good deal of money in the dust collector system. Wood dust can be a dangerous fire and explosion hazard.
  3. Today
  4. yo been back on mc lately after a break, mostly hopping between survival and skyblock servers. kinda forgot how many server lists there are now lol been checking a bunch like: https://minecraftservers.org https://minecraft-server-list.com https://topminecraftservers.org https://mcbestservers.com https://minecraft-mp.com just been clicking through whatever looks interesting honestly. some servers are pretty active, others feel dead even with 50+ online. y’all have any hidden gems you find through discord or somewhere else?
  5. Yesterday
  6. Man, that Eagle that Rich plays the song on at the end of the video sounded unreal. Makes me want to learn a song in that style. It has just the right balance of string to wood in the tone WOW!
  7. In watching that video I couldn't help but notice how clean the shop looks, and the paint booth looks great.
  8. That’s Bill.
  9. Probably not, the HRW was a Schaller humbucker that was completely reworked. However, just my thoughts anyway.
  10. Wow !!!! These are so rad !!! Thats you in the pic? These black limba are nice !!! Like the 3 piece neck and the front H logo which was a transition for a short period !!
  11. agree! and Bob & Bill, those are amazing H137's. You lucky SOB's!
  12. Last week
  13. I just snagged a mint Fulltone Fulldrive on Sweetwater gear sales page for $79 shipped. This replaces the 10th anniversary FD that Kuz sold me about 5 years ago, destroyed in the flood.
  14. That’s awesome!
  15. What I know about Jazz guitar playing could fit on the head of a needle, but I love watching those Rich Severson videos. He does great demos, and gets some great tones out of those jazz boxes!
  16. I felt the same way. But this one is really easy to program and work with. I just don't see the point of going back to an analog setup. However, this does have an effects loop for the few pedals that this doesn't have. I have some inexpensive modulation pedals from Amazon that produce some really unique sounds. They only run about $35 each. But two of those gives me most of the functions of a good guitar synth pedal. And I can add them to any patch that I want. Fun stuff.
  17. Yes he made a pair.
  18. Some people just like the flexibility of having individual pedals that was my case before six months ago. I think I had probably about 10 Boss pedals or more all strung horizontally across on a peddle board . I just don’t like those all in one type of effect units they never are easy to use in my opinion.
  19. I’ve got a feeling the Standard USA model line is going away and only Custom Cores will be USA made…
  20. Remember when ordering a custom from Jay Wolfe, Graham asked my opinion on CNC vs hand carved / cut. All I had was a gut response based on internet chatter. We the end user /consumer of fine guitars know little about building vs manufacturing. We purchase and play. Pete's "wood therapy" displays the vast knowledge gap between the people who visit and work at 225 Parsons. RESPECT
  21. Was that the H137 he did few years back?
  22. Would really like to getta Pete farmer build one H150 or H157 ....perhaps someday !?
  23. I have never used that GX-10 but having a zillion Boss FX for that price is great. I use Line 6 and Quad Cortex for FX and they are all great. I have messed with Headrush and Ampero and liked them too. Boss has to be great or they would be pushed out, given all of the great competition. Why anyone would spend $400 on a couple of Boss pedals when you can get the same pedals plus a shit ton more for the same price is beyond me. BTW, I like the music you are learning. It will be fun trying to cop those sounds. But you have the gear to pull it off!
  24. Great picture and story! Thanks for sharing
  25. Make sure you credit the original photographer who took that pic! He got rather pissed off when I didn't one time: I was unfamiliar with photography etiquette, and try to avoid doing that since then
  26. Most all of my pedals which were Boss were destroyed in the September 20 24 hurricane flood waters. Including the paddleboard, which was also a boss. I’m slowly rebuilding my pedals and I’m open to suggestions to use for a board. I’m looking at earthboard that’s the one that uses the magnetic rails supposedly? And it’s battery powered or rechargeable? I don’t know a whole lot of about it, but I see their ads constantly anybody have any experience with that one? TYIA
  27. Congratulations Monica hey listen I’m trying to assemble a new peddle board since the boss paddleboard I had with most of all of my Boss petals was destroyed in the flood water/September. I’m slowly rebuilding my pedal collection, which is not gonna be very extensive, but tha assist, I will need a peddle board of some type. Do you have one for sale?
