Yes, Heritage did build guitars with spaced out heads (and they even had them tilt back 17 degrees). This is a tone monster of great quality. The Schaller pickups all work very well and the 162 provides all the classic strat tones with a screaming neck humbucker for fat leads. A coil split, a 5-way selector and Kahler Spyder tremolo make this a very complete guitar. The maple neck with glued on maple fingerboard is screwed on the mahogany body.
