1992 custom built amazing guitar. This one is not for everyone, but everyone can appreciate it. This was one of several unique Heritages ordered by a NY studio musician. It was one of his working guitars.
Starting at the top: Imperial tuners. MOP The Heritage inlay with the "proper" orientation so it can be read while the guitar is being played, not just when it's in a stand. The neck is 5 layers of maple and mahogany. The nut width is 1 11/16th" by my measurement with a scale length of 25.5". The board is ebony. The neck is straight and there is little fret wear. The action is low. No fretboard rise. This is a true hollowbody with reinforcement for the bridge studs. The woods are Ultra. The top and back are laminates plus there are no f holes, all to reduce feedback. The body thickness is about 1.5", which is very comfortable. The body width is a large 18" like a Super Eagle or Super 400. This enhanced top resonance and cavity volume for tone. There is a single standard pickup, a Seth Lover. That was moved a little bit distant from the neck, again for tone purposes. There is a Roland MIDI pickup also. This outputs via a 13 pin jack to any compatible guitar synthesizer. There are two standard pickup controls and two standard MIDI buttons. The Seth sounds very good, like a woodier H555 or even a H550. The MIDI works flawlessly and is a lot of fun. The back of the guitar was first sprayed with the colored lacquer then a clear coat. Every owner and employee of Heritage signed the back. Another clear coat was applied. It's case, Heritage made by modifying a Super Eagle case. The guitar weighs about 9 lbs as a "best guess". Considering its size, it's light.
