How long have you owned a Heritage?

Taking a que from Gitfiddlers "If you could only own one Heritage" I'd like to see how long everyone has owned their Heritage. My H140 and I go back to '88 when it was delivered as a custom order in late (Nov?) of '87. It's been my main guitar ever since. So, has anyone here owned a Heritage as long, almost as long or not quite as long?  ;D

My first one, (a 535), arrived in November 2007, only a wee while after you got yours slider !

Hmmmm, knew about them long before I got one. Thinking April of '07, earliest it could be. That would be the H157 that is now Mr. Debris'

mid 90s, the HFT445 was my first one.

I got a 445 in 90 and sold it in 09.  My 535 was a 96 but I traded it to Miknov for his 150.  None of my current Heritages, gold 535, 150 or the 475 have been with me very long.

Got my first 02' 150 used in 2004.  I'm pretty new to Heritage.  I knew about them before, but never never thought they would be this good.

My first one is an H-150 that I bought new from Elderly in 96.  I had been seeing their ads in magazines and a friend of mine had one. I played his and was hooked.

Early '06. Then I started the Heritage guitar trust fund (ie the flood gates opened)!

I'm not sure how long it's been since I got my 550 Custom used at Ithaca Guitar Works.  Part of my plan when I sold my Super 400 was to find a smaller archtop that I might actually play.  Heritage was at the top of my list.  I found the 550 on the web, and made the 5 hour drive down to Ithaca to check it out.  It was the first Heritage I'd actually played after having been curious about them since they first entered production.  I remember when I traveled I'd check out the yellow pages to see if any of the local shops were Heritage dealers.  Unfortunately, I wasn't traveling much, or playing much, from the mid80s to mid90s, so my days of searching down and hanging out in guitar shops pretty much dried up before there were many Heritage guitars in circulation.

I'm guessing I bought the 550 in approx. 2000?  May have been a year or two earlier.  I don't write these things down; guess I should.

I bought my first Heritage, a Johnny Smith, in the fall of 1990. I had wanted one ever since they came out in 1961, at g. The clincher was my wife said yes!

I bought my first Heritage new in 1997. It is a black H157CM and she is still going strong and aging quite nicely.

The guitar is what gave me the "itch" to grow my collection!
