  1. So while at PSP last Friday before the plant tours began, we all mull around in the Heritage guitar showroom looking at all the beautiful works of art hanging on the walls. Hanging in the corner all lonely by itself was a 155 Millennium in trans Wine with gold hardware. The Guitar was built in 2016 and apparently taken to a few trade shows and then put up in a case somewhere as it never got sold. Mike Ortiz found it in the back in a case and took it out hung it up in the showroom, and when I laid eyes on it, I knew it had to be mine. I worked out the details with Mike and he said they would go over the guitar and then ship it to me this week because I was driving back to Florida. Well, I received a communication from him this morning that the Guitar had a little bit of finish checking on the top that he was unaware of and so was I. That doesn’t bother me that much but it was able to gain an additional discount on the guitar and today went through a PLEKING job and a buffing, and he’s putting a new bridge and stop tail on it with a full set up. These guys at Heritage, both Pete Farmer and Mike Ortiz are the real deal and the fact that they went so far above and beyond for me on this guitar is a true testimonial. It’s things like this that keep me very loyal to the brand. I will post more pics soon as I receive it.

  2. Yes the RE20 is in the Reverb/Delay mode. The reverb in it just seemed to work for this song, but typically I use the Dr Scientist "Reverberator" for most of my reverbs. When my band took off I was mostly using the Boogies, a DC2 in Rehearsal, and my Fillmore 50 live, with very few pedals. But since I got the second cabinet for the Marshall I've been falling in love with it. And it requires me to have a pedal board. It sounds especially good with the Original Effects Revival Drive Custom. The "Custom" has special voicing controls that make it work with any good amp. And it wasn't until I really learned how to use those controls. that I got a great overdrive sound for the Marshall. It doesn't sound like a pedal, it just sounds like my amp getting progressively dirtier and slighter louder with each channel. And then the Red Witch Fuzz just takes it over the top for the leads. I am getting the best rock sounds I've ever gotten, and that's saying a lot. And I'm getting them with the least amount of dancing on the pedals. As for the song, I'm excited to hear this with my band, but unfortunately I can't rehearse for a few weeks because I two skin cancers that needed surgery (face and arm), and I need the stitches to heal before I can rehearse! On the plus side they got all of the cancer:)
