  1. The only multi-effect I've ever owned is a Digitech GNX-4, which I think they discontinued maybe around the time Columbus discovered the New World. Would I say it was awesome? At the time, yeah. It does way more than I've ever bothered to figure out. Have had a ton of fun with it; for my purposes it's been great. But, I think any time you go "all-in-one" you make compromises. The question becomes, "Are you ok with those compromises?"

  2. No poker chips on my H150s, and personally I like them better that way, I tried one on each of them and off they came! And I prefer the Heritage pickguard to the Gibson guard, I like the way it follows the body contours. I don't feel the same way about their semi-hollow pickguards, they look too small to me, and definitely not as nice shape wise as the H150 guards. I had MojoAxe make me one Gibson style for my H535P90 that cus sold me and I love it.

  3. I recall that well. The Bigsby factory once was next door to Gibson. The Bigsby among us was considered an upgrade. I don't think tone had a thing to do with that attitude. Also, doing three sets with a 12 lb. instrument was not a concern at all decades ago. This is a side issue. My guess is that having a Bigsby on a solid body didn't affect tone much, if at all. It may be a different story on a Golden Eagle.

What tone!); '67 sunburst, double-bound Fender Tele.

  6. 68 Les Paul Gold Top. My 2006 H150 Goldtop plays and sounds kind of better but does not have the prestige (wanted Humbuckers in 68) but they were only on their custom at that time Had a 60s Tele Had a 60s Epi Texan Had a 61 Strat Had 66 Ric 12 string 360 also a 12 string 450
