Marv built and sprayed my #1 (H-525 Custom) that includes his 50's stye thick neck carve. Man, I love this beast of a guitar!
And he continued on to answer such a basic question. Every guitar player I interact with consider your query fundamental. It has been addressed here multiple times which is precisely why I wholeheartedly agree with bolero’s frustrations.
Sit back, take a deep breath and consider thanking him for sharing his knowledge and experiences. You got far more than you paid for.
The Kalamazoo made Harmony guitars are probably the lowest cost solid body guitars made in the US. I briefly owned a Comet (semi hollow) and it was a great guitar. I only sold it because I needed to fund my purchase of a CC H-530. I'm curious to know how well done these Ascent models are going to be but I don't think I'll buy one. That's not to say I look down my nose at them or anyone who buys one. Not all of us can afford US made instruments.
