  1. Indeed sweet !!! Nice picture !! I wonder does the earlier Heritage anniversarys H150 were built by Marvin too? Or he just supervise ?
  2. Would you show any of his handwrittings or signature off his built Heritages?
  3. Howdy i was just thinking how lucky will we be able to find a Marvin lamb built H150 or H157 ? Any clue if we are on the hunt ? Does he particularly built a handful batch of these H150s or 157s? And which year was it are we looking at?
  4. @brentrocks will you be cool to help me date an 80 or 90s firebird ? Typically with the inverse headstock
  5. Just adding to the H357 i bumped on this clip and is so stoked to see this especially for the guy whom gotten it off from Marvin !!
  6. Hope he is well and i think he is the Heritage legend ... !! To really add on the backbone of the Heritage company especially for the new owner they should think about doing some form of a retreat and do something special hahah...
  7. Heritage should invite Marvin lamb back for a really one off reissue on these 357, 150 & 157 perhaps knowing the fact that he is a fatherly respected builder known to have build guitars during the gibson kalamazoo and Heritage days....
  8. I have did extensive research on these Marvbird and found Marvin actually did a run of 25 pieces of these birds during 2011? Before he retire.... those have multi laminated necks and natural color... just stunning !! Beautiful !! I just wonder did anybody at Heritage inherited the Marvin lamb skill and touch on these masterpieces? Pete Farmer ?
  9. Forgive my ignorance, for this thread it trails me down to check out on any for sale and holycow these Marvbird sells for 11k usd !!! Other than its Marvin build any special appointment on these ? I wonder if Heritage would do a release on these ? Taking the same attention and reciepe to details whom they took on the customcore?
  10. Looks sweet taste sweet !! Just like a magnum gold
  11. Sorry to hijack this topic didnt wanna start a new thread... but does anybody know if the heritage H150CC parson 225 paf is same as the gibson custombuckers? Taking the fact that it came from the design by Edwin wilson.... If its close how difference are these ? Does the Plarson 225 has more output than custombuckers or lesser? Which has more mids and which has more treble ? Which sounds darker ?
  12. Damn this thread makes me wanna buy another H50CC !! But seriously as i looked thru all the web pieces... none of the flame tops are as astounding as the gibsons R9... Few were poorly matched.... yet surprsingly those internet influencers whom they gotten theirs has a crazy top !! Not sure how true it is if they got the specials.... but what i felt it could be probably true that Marketing pieces seen on the web were surprisingly beautiful yet unobtainable... Not being as ass here but i resides same country as the tycoon whom bought over Heritages... i know it business wise it gone better? But consumer wise we are not getting the same butter as advertised... from flame tops, tuners, bridges, and pots were all seem a class lower in grade... If Heritage could again up their game to bring back their nice wonderful selected tops, grover tuners but abr1 bridge it be a second to none being the best singlecut... knowing the fact it already sound so fantastic i been looking to replace the stock tuners, i was wondering if the schaller M6 would fit in nicely ?
  13. I remember spoken to Mike when getting my H150CC as i wanted to get his help to hand select "the one" with a nice decent tone and a wild flame top.... he has gotten me the best believed but i wasnt that impress with the top yet and Mike suggested me to wait for the bespoke custom to announce and i could basically do a custom.... but didnt want the wait so i grab that existing one whom he helped me painstakingly selected.... He went thru many boxes and i strongly believe its out of his working usual capacity but he was trying to help me realise my dream H150CC, we chatted abit over the mail and was really a pleasure to have conversed with him.... I lately play thru my H150CC especially after changing modded the bridge, this beast sound and resonate like no other LP does so far whom i played not plugging in.... its thick loud and with that mid character going with a hint of high end girth going... I then thought i probably sell the other H150 standard i got and perhaps do a bespoke custom H157CC and would like to hear if anybody does.... especially price and their custom work....
  14. Wondering has anybody here gone with the Heritage bespoke custom shop program where things could do custom according to your preference? I just wonder what will be the dos and not... ?
  15. Thats one sexy quilt !!
  16. Wow.... you totally got into heritage !! I would like the cadillac green but i already own the H150 oxblood and a H150CC in tobacco sunburst.... Both plays extremely well but down side was my H150 oxblood standard factory fret dress and fret nib was a pain in the arse... other than that my other H150CC has that neck thats familiar to the Historic R9 but with a slightly thinner body thickness and better cutaway access makes it plays well enough... complain was the bridge pole piece was slightly tilted inwards but the pinnacle bridge thumbwheel sort of solves the issue with that buldge hum making more contact but in my opinion its still unsightful on that tilted pole bridge piece.... Like both the tone on the heritage H150s i have very resonant and loud acoustically .... The H150 oxblood i have has the zingy topend snappy tight that sound like what my R8 is whom i thought its too bright with the Faber... The H150CC i got has a modded Gibson abr1 non wire bridge and it sound a tad louder without the bright topend and has more of that mids going on but loses it snappy tone which i felt... Both are nice instrument and tone machine but lately after seeing your post it makes me wanna getta cadillac green... lol
  17. Nice info on the Heritage 150CC bridge upgrades !! Would wanna ask too if the old 2023 2022 custom core tuners also be gettimg replaced back to Grover tuners ? Or gotoh 510 ?
  18. Yes i gotten them all in a set... i even accidentally broken off the conversion stud post which Larry send it down free of charge instantly... Larry customer service is top notch !! But its probably just me that i probably prefer the Gibson abr1 better those on my RI .. dont get me wrong on these Faber bridge , the Faber bridge set i got the quality in them is top notch i could immediately feel when handling them, i have not really A/Bed them side by side on the same guitar but i just hear a rather zingy upper tones on the Faber bridge set on my H150 and i prefer the Gibson ABR1 over the stock API bridge it had stock on my H150CC... Maybe i will A/B them again when i gotta time... who knows?
  19. I have gotten the Faber bridge and installed it on my oxblood H150 but i found it rather have that zingy tone...
  20. Pic of the side... sitting well on the API thumbwheel... seriously any comments? Is the bridge too high? just a 5.5mm hole enlarge and a chamfering flute
  21. Thought it be nice to share some pics... but Heritage purist sorry i took it a step further... in my opinion its nicer now and the H150CC hardware sucks... especially tuners... ouch Like the H150CC everybit but if Heritage could reconsider to up their game closer on the hardware and frets it be top notch !! Apologise yes i should have file down the string notch on the saddles... but have not tried it before could need some time and practise
  22. Are these birds still available thou?
