barrymclark Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I sent a question to Heritage about the strings that came on my 575 so I can get something similar in the future. The response was "GHS Heritage JAZZ set - 11/52 set with a .014 2nd" I looked on the GHS site and couldn't find them. Anyone know where I can get a set? Don't need them now. Just for future use. Thanks!
barrymclark Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 Got my answer from Heritage. Gotta call the factory. Custom set for them.

Thanks! Try First Quality Music in Louisville. They're lower in price than about anyone. You can order sets online, including GHS, or you can order single strings. A lot of jazzers use .011's & .014's, but I prefer .014's or .015's on the 1st string and .018's on the 2nd. Gives a fuller sound, and you can still bend, although it takes more effort. Good luck!- Charles Bevell
Guest mgoetting Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 YOU can bend, I can break! I have trouble with a 13 getting up a whole tone. Are you concerned about the neck or top under that stress? Probably not since flattops endure it.
