GHS Heritage Jazz 11's with .014 2nd....

I sent a question to Heritage about the strings that came on my 575 so I can get something similar in the future.

The response was "GHS Heritage JAZZ set - 11/52 set with a .014 2nd"

I looked on the GHS site and couldn't find them. Anyone know where I can get a set? Don't need them now. Just for future use.

Thanks!

Try First Quality Music in Louisville. They're lower in price than about anyone. You can order sets online, including GHS, or you can order single strings. A lot of jazzers use .011's & .014's, but I prefer .014's or .015's on the 1st string and .018's on the 2nd. Gives a fuller sound, and you can still bend, although it takes more effort. Good luck!- Charles Bevell

YOU can bend, I can break!

I have trouble with a 13 getting up a whole tone.

Are you concerned about the neck or top under that stress? Probably not since flattops endure it.
