Guest HRB853370 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 One of the things I like about this guitar is that, unlike Gibson and Epiphone, the jack is on the rim, not on the top. I could only upload these 4 pics so more on the way!
Patrick Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 One of the things I like about this guitar is that, unlike Gibson and Epiphone, the jack is on the rim, not on the top. I could only upload these 4 pics so more on the way! WOW!! Look at the grain on that top!! The flame is real nice, but the grain is wild. You say thast the camara doesn't do it justice . . . but, I believe that the camara can't deceive or misrepresent the beauty of that grain. Great color too. Nice looking guitar man!! Congrats and enjoy it!!!
schundog Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 OK, NOW it's official!! haha. Congrats, she's a beauty. I couldn't agree more about the jack placement. Play the hell out of it!
Guest HRB853370 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Thanks Patrick, its a very old and inexpensive Olympus with 2.0 megapixel
Guest mgoetting Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 You're right about the jack. Several times in the last year I might have cracked a top from stepping on the cord.
big bob Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 looks like there's water running down it... cool..
schundog Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 looks like there's water running down it... cool.. That's probably just drool; would be if it were at my house....
kbp810 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 looks like there's water running down it... cool.. ...and the water running down it is trying to extinguish the flame, but it just can't do it! That is a very cool look
Kuz Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Yep, now it does exist. Thanks for sharing. That is an incredible example of Heritage at it's finest.
High Flying Bird Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Thanks Patrick, its a very old and inexpensive Olympus with 2.0 megapixel It ain't the size but how you use it. Very nice. It looks liquid like Big Bob said. That is one liquid storage unit I would love to have.
H Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 looks like there's water running down it... cool.. Hope that's not getting us back to the soap-suds Beautiful guitar, Will, what style are you planning to play with it?
TalismanRich Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Will, thats REALLY nice looking. Great looking wood for sure. I'm sure it will stay in your stable for years to come.
FredZepp Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 That one is quite excellent..!! Very nice finishing and a really unique top make it very desirable. thanks for the pics.. very nice.
Guest HRB853370 Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Hope that's not getting us back to the soap-suds Beautiful guitar, Will, what style are you planning to play with it? Blues baby! I cranked it up last night, and the HRW pups have a really big output! I was shocked at how loud this guitar plays, compared to my H-150 with the stock Schallers. It has fantastic sustain also! I would just call it boobydelicious, and with the water running down it, the soap suds get even bubblier!
NoNameBand Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 It ain't the size but how you use it. Very nice. It looks liquid like Big Bob said. That is one liquid storage unit I would love to have. You need to put some strap locks and a strap on your liquid storage unit so you can always have it with you.
NoNameBand Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Drop dead gorgeous Will. Sweet. I can hear the blues already. With a guitar like that, you can only pretend to have the blues. Play on...
crocane Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Very nice Will.....love the finish....very classic look.
smurph1 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Nice Man..Very Nice..I can hear "Stormy Monday" already!!
Gitfiddler Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Pictures never seem to show the incredible beauty of these instruments. Nice 555!!
fxdx99 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Yum!! Heritage semis are the best. 'Specially for the blues! If down to picking one single guitar (heavan forbid), a 555 would be on the short-short list. Congrats, Will!
golferwave Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Congrats Will ... As the others have said that's one gorgeous and classic guitar!! The 555's just have that high dollar and high quality look about them that can't be denied. Enjoy!!
Guest HRB853370 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Thank you -thank you -thank you ! One can really appreciate what goes into these guitars ONLY after owning one! This baby is a keeper!
