JeffB Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Here's some pix of my 150 cm classic. Dont know what happened to the flame though. Must be the light. Oh well... I just love this guitar. I spent a lot of time looking for a single cut, tried all sorts of makes and brands before I found this one. It just works
slider313 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Real nice. The fretboard looks nice and dark in the photo. Is it as dark as it appears?
JeffB Posted March 16, 2008 Author Posted March 16, 2008 Real nice. The fretboard looks nice and dark in the photo. Is it as dark as it appears? Thanks. Yeah it is dark for rosewood, but maybe not quite as dark as in the picture. There's not alot of redness in it.
fxdx99 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Killer looking guit, Tully. Has the vintage bridge, too. Nice.
SouthpawGuy Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Nice guitar tully .... What colour is that ?, it looks like chestnut burst in the pics, but there seems to be some variation in the Heritage finishes and it's hard to tell at times.
squawken Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 If that is the chestnut burst, it is the same one I have. i love it and the color. Do you ever wish you had a reddish pick guard?
cosmikdebriis Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Absolute stunner... Congrats on that one 8) Fretboard does look very dark. Don't suppose it's ebony?
JeffB Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Thanks guys. Im a little bit obsessed with it right now. It is chestnut burst. Its not an ebony fret board just very dark rosewood. Its all classic tones and buttery goodness and I cant stop playing it. Ive been a strat player for so long and all of a sudden Im pulling tones Ive never heard myself play before. Its like lights are coming on for the first time. I havnt been so stoked about a guitar for a long time ;D  Cheers Tully
Thundersteel Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Very, very nice! It looks as if it's on fire!
Gitfiddler Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Nice H150, Tully! Try taking some photos of it from a side angle in natural sunlight. You'll capture more of that lady's flamey figure. Don't you find yourself just standing back and staring at her sometimes?
JeffB Posted March 18, 2008 Author Posted March 18, 2008 Thanks for the tips Gitfiddler. Yeah those guys at Heritage do great work. Its good to just sit back and appreciate it.
