That is such a unique Heritage. They didn't make them for very long, nor did they make very many of them. And that is TransBlack, right? Or purple? (color blind, sorry). I had a Millie SAE that I truly loved. The only Heritage I've ever sold that I wish I had back. You'll probably want a DI box for the acoustic side, unless they build a pre-amp into that one. It'll make a huge difference in the AE side. So ... clips??

Is it my eyes, or are the low E and A tuners crooked?

It looks like all three of the bass side tuners are a little crooked. Odd...

I have worked on one of these, they are really cool instruments.

For what ever reason, you see this on older Heritages occasionally . I have one where one tuner is not exactly right.

I like the color--almost like a greenish blue. Or is it a bluish green?

Love the patina on those tuners. Even if that one is a bit off kilter ... at least in the picture.

Of all Heritage non-archtops, the SAE is,by far, my favorite! If I ever come up with the money to do it, I'm going to order one custom with just one Lollar Charlie Christian pickup, maybe in sunsetburst, and with a curly maple headstock overlay. - Charles Bevell
