slawnugget Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 figured id put a little better pics than the first ones. not much of a picture taker, but hey you can see it.
tulk1 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 That is such a unique Heritage. They didn't make them for very long, nor did they make very many of them. And that is TransBlack, right? Or purple? (color blind, sorry). I had a Millie SAE that I truly loved. The only Heritage I've ever sold that I wish I had back. You'll probably want a DI box for the acoustic side, unless they build a pre-amp into that one. It'll make a huge difference in the AE side. So ... clips??
FredZepp Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 VERY NICE.... I almost jumped on a bargain on a cherry sunburst one... they seem cool.
slawnugget Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 its trans green. electronics are bein a little funky, but its goin in the shop for a full setup and he'll go through the electronics.
Thundersteel Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Is it my eyes, or are the low E and A tuners crooked?
Millennium Maestro Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 2 bridge pups?, Very interesting axe.
DeLorean Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Is it my eyes, or are the low E and A tuners crooked? It looks like all three of the bass side tuners are a little crooked. Odd... I have worked on one of these, they are really cool instruments.
FredZepp Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Is it my eyes, or are the low E and A tuners crooked? For what ever reason, you see this on older Heritages occasionally . I have one where one tuner is not exactly right.
Thundersteel Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I like the color--almost like a greenish blue. Or is it a bluish green?
tulk1 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Love the patina on those tuners. Even if that one is a bit off kilter ... at least in the picture.
JeffB Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Great looking guitar. Really nice. Love the colour
cod65 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 killer. ++ on the tuner patina! i wonder if theres a lefty out there somewhere.....
unikh550 Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 figured id put a little better pics than the first ones. not much of a picture taker, but hey you can see it. Of all Heritage non-archtops, the SAE is,by far, my favorite! If I ever come up with the money to do it, I'm going to order one custom with just one Lollar Charlie Christian pickup, maybe in sunsetburst, and with a curly maple headstock overlay. - Charles Bevell
