dirk Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Hi all. I'm new member from Germany. I need your help to define which model I have. In Germany nobody knows anything about my guitar model. The dealer doesn't exist anymore. I purchased my guitar 1992. It looks like as a mix of H150 and H157 or a special model, I don't know. I hope you can tell me. I have asked Heritage directly but I didn't receive any answer until today. Please see pic's. The serial no. is H02305. Thx Dirk
tulk1 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Hi Dirk. You've got an H150. Looks just like this one on ebay. Same pictures. Don't see anything that would make it different from a stock H150, other than perhaps the uncovered pickups. Nice guitar.

The questions came up from bidders because of the 4 round button (in 1991 this buttons only for H157), the '59 Seymour Duncan pick up and the wood Pickguard.

Wood pickguards are standard on Heritages, at least in 1991 they were. And that is very nice pg, too. Speed knobs - could have been ordered that way, could have been swapped out. Easy enough to do. Duncans, nice choice there. Heritage is at heart a custom shop. The dealer could have ordered the guitar with those customizations. I think it makes that guitar stand out. Good choices, whoever did it. If it were an H157 it would have body binding front and back, and on the headstock.

Hi Dirk, Welcome to the club.Nice H150 there.Do yourself a favour.Get rid of the Schaller stop bar,and fit a standard one.The pivoting string holders stop some of the sustain.I had one on my C140CM,removed it and the difference was amazing. The one shown in the photo is a schaller product, macht in Deutschland. tulk1 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 It is planned to sell the guitar, yes. Is this a problem, should I cancel my account? Dirk, no need to cancel. You might find you like us and want to hang around.
H Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 It is planned to sell the guitar, yes. Is this a problem, should I cancel my account? Hi Dirk, Welcome to the HOC It's a shame you're selling such a fabulous guitar but I suppose you have your reasons. A tip for you: if you're selling through eBay, make it visible on the eBay UK site - there's quite a bit of interest in Heritage guitars in the UK and the exchange rate is still fairly good. I bought my 170 from a German eBay auction! Good luck

The last thing we want you to do is cancel being a member here, you are most welcome. Any one with an appreciation for the Heritage brand is always welcomed here, this is a very friendly place to be. You never know, once you get talking here, you might want to hang on to that guitar you have there - it's a beauty!
