je00143 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Here is a nice story on Alan Rosen, owner of Bananas At Large in San Rafael, CA. He is a Heritage dealer and is in the HOC. It is always a pleasure for me to see a good guy get props for his work. http://sanrafael.patch.com/articles/business-spotlight-bananas-at-large I live four miles from a GC, and would rather pay a bridge toll and drive 45 minutes to shop at his store. There is a vibe there, I tell ya!! Also - What he doesn't say is that he funnels back a ton of money into the school music system. I don't mean for this to be a shameless plug - it is nice to recognize somebody who is doing a lot of good in the community and for us as well.
Gitfiddler Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Great post. Mr. Rosen is a class act and quality Heritage dealer who deserves this type of attention. Here is a link to his shop: http://www.bananasmusic.com/local/ Pssst! Victor Wooten will be putting on a clinic there on October 26!!!!! :good_mini:
GuitArtMan Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 My younger brother lives down the street from Banana's. I try and make a trip down every time I visit him, which unfortunately isn't all that often. Of course I always try and sample so of the local micro brew as well!
