Isaac Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Is there anyone that has played on either a Epiphone Blues Custom Combo Amp (30/15w) A or AB 2x12 Lady Eminence Speakers. Dual EQ Modes- Independent/Interactive. 5-12AX7. 2-5881. 5AR4 Tube Rectifer. I'm thinking about purchasing this amp or the Gibson GA42RVT (30/15w Class A. 2-6L6 Power Tubes. 5-12AX7 PreAmp Tubes. Soild State Rectifer. Tube Driven Reveb. Tube Driven Tremolo. 2-12" Eminence Legend Speakers. The epiphone is a couple hundred deference in price(cheaper) But they're made by the same people. What do you guys think?
Kuz Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I think you should buy Slider13 (Mike's) Princeton Reverb. I am not trying to endorse him ,but you get a better sounding amp that won't depreciate a penny. just .02 WOOPS, just read where you already have Princeton Reverb.
PHILIP Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I would definitely get the Gibson, because it will retain its value much better, if you ever want to sell it in the future.
Isaac Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 The Gibson... Thanks for the advise. I will keep this in mind as I test these amps and make my final pick.
