Guest HRB853370 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 I was wondering what Chestnut Sunburst looks like in person. I have seen it in photos, but sometimes photos are deceiving. Is this one of Heritage's rarer finishes? If anybody has any photos of theirs I would like to see them.

A quick way to find out a short list is go to the Gallery and use either Chestnut or CNSB in the search field at the top right

TalismanRich Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 At PSP, I had my Milli LE in Chestnut Sunburst. It's the one in the middle.
squawken Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 My 150 on the right is in Chestnut Sunburst.
High Flying Bird Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Here are T-Steel's 150 and my 535 both in CNSB.
tbonesullivan Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 chestnut burst is an AWESOME color. I'd love to have a guitar in that color, but alas, the stable is full.

SouthpawGuy Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Shot of a nice chestnut burst 550 from Ebay ... looks good enough to eat !
unikh550 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 If I had a lot of curly maple, which I do on my H-550, I'd probably go with a color that doesn't hide so much of the grain, although Chestnutburst does so in a classy way. However, if I had a spruce top or plain maple, Chestnutburst would be the way I'd go, for sure. Gave my 9 y.o. daughter a photocopy showing Heritage's finishes. She liked Chestnutburst the best; she said that there wasn't a close second. It does seem to make a guitar look vintage!- Charles Bevell
