High Flying Bird Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I couldn't wait to share my pics of it. I can't wait to see it!
koula901 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 I can't wait to see it! Bird, I've never manipulated pics in a computer before, I have to resize them in order to upload them because they're all too big. At first I downloaded the pics, they're jpeg format, but they opened up in Windows Picture & Fax Viewer. Since there seemed no way to resize them, I changed them all to Paint format, which has an Attributes function, in which I should be able to select either inches or centimeters in Height and Width, I don't know what numbers I should plug in - any suggestions? One is supposed to be able to re-size the pic, in the paint program, by grabbing the little square box and dragging it - but there's no little box to grab, so I have to contend with plugging in numbers. Please advise

Please advise In the paint program , click on "image" at the top and go to "stretch or skew". It will give you an option of stretching by %.. so you could do 50% height and 50% width and cut the size in half....

FredZepp Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 That's it... and now another part of the guitar appears. One day you'll have to set up an online storage, put your pics there and learn to copy the address for that specific pic to post it. There is an extra step or two involved, but it becomes second nature. I use Google Picasa, it's free.

koula901 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 koula, that is gorgeous! I hope you get years of enjoyment from it. PS I lived in Gloucester for s short time years ago, the evenings must be getting nice and chilly by now?!? Sticky Sticky!! Way cool that you lived in Gloucester. I have such a passion for this place. Where do you live now. If you don't want to post it here, just PM me.
FredZepp Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 OMG... that is awesome. Such a warm and inviting finish on it. It's a work of art from Kalamazoo, from the experts. I can see why you worked so hard to make it happen,... Congrats, the wait is almost over.
Patrick Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Really classy guitar! The gold HW sets it off nicely . . . blends beautifully into that gorgeous finish. I love how dark the finger board is. Congrats on a great acquisition!
schundog Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Holy Cow, Katy, That is fantastic!! The only thing keeping me from going green with envy is, I couldn't play the darn thing, being a lefty!! (No jokes about that not making a difference, guys!!! LOL)
High Flying Bird Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 That is a nice finish. I love the color and the gold is just right for it. This weekend huh? Your hands will be shot next week.
big bob Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 One more pic. That is one great color. are the pics reversed, all the controls are on the wrong side. Now that you have her a tone report is in order.
Guest HRB853370 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 If you hold it up to a mirror, suddenly all the knobs and switches appear in the correct order! That is sweet, I surmise the gold hardware was a custom option on the 535? One question-no binding on the F holes??
koula901 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 Hey Guys, Thanks for all the appreciation, and mucho thanks to Fred for tech support. Pushover: yup, I'm hoping the guitar will arrive by the 30th Fred Zepp: the chase is half the fun, don't you think! : ) Big Bob - tone report in a couple weeks, once I get to know her Will - I bought it used from a guy who custom ordered it, so, I guess he didn't want binding on the f-holes. My, you have an eagle's eye, that's not something that I would occurred to me. The pups are High Order A-2s - can't wait to hear those. Cheers!
jmc7581 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Nice, K901, REALLY nice - I'll go so far as to say it is almost - ALMOST - as nice as mine! Beautiful finish.
koula901 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 JMC7581 ; D HA!!!!! I know . . . I've been lookin' at yours, in posts, all day.
