You know I wonder if she looks down, as she flies on by? She's flying on the air so easily in the sky. (Jefferson Airplane)

I got a call from 225 Parsons a short time ago. I should have the 357 in hand on Friday.

How am I supposed to work after hearing that?

Hey Richie Havens,

Get some film, post some shots or it did not "is about to happen".

I would go home sick now and make it look good by being out Thursday and Friday.

Now is the time to complete all of the preparations for that Happy New Guitar Day....

The details of the day need to be ironed out in advance... Prepare for the photo session, get the amp selected and ready, have some quick finger foods handy, which beer to celebrate with, the guitar stand ready in the perfect spot to admire it when you're not playing it, the song list.... etc...

OK, this is the best I can do for now.

This, my friends, is but a taste of the genius which makes the HOC the whimsical wonderland it so certainly is! Great lick, Mike!

Ron, congrats and good luck keeping of the growing anticipatory GAS pains.

Honestly, the most exciting and fulfilling time of getting a new guitar is 48 hours to the time of cracking the case open.

It's the time when Santa is dressed in all brown, drives his big brown sleigh, and ask you to sign a paper for the elves!!!

Can't wait to see it!!!!

; ) It's a song, by Paul Simon . . . some archaic reference to something having to do with photography.

What's the latest tracking report?

It left Lansing MI at 10:07 PM eastern and arrived in Louisville, KY at 11:05 PM eastern. That thing is moving faster than me and Big Bob did on the way home from PSP3. I hope they didn't get a ticket in Indiana.

Sleep? No way! I am so excited I just peed on the floor.

You pee'ed on the floor?! Your cats are going to love you even more, Ron!

I know exactly what you are going through right now.

Waiting the last few hours for your very own custom Heritage is a very unique and blistful HELL!!:icon_spiderman:

UPS shows it is still in Louisville. Fred lives about an hour and a half from there and his last 7 post had an IP address of a hotel near the airport in Louisville. I can see him dressed as a ninja creeping up on the box and all of a sudden Talisman Rich pops out, dressed the same and puts Fred in a choke hold. I think I am going to call the cops.

Heritage makes so few Firebirds that they don't have a case for them. They ship in a gig bag. That has me so nervous that I am shaking like a dog shitting a peach seed.

I'll call the boss in the morning. He know that it is coming. Just a week and a half after he took took delivery of his new BMW. I am going to spot him from the cops soon and take photos of him winding it out on Martin Rd. He will understand.
