Hi...

+1 for the post with pic and a sound clip

I've got to say, what with the pic of a 150, I was expecting something a bit... erm...heavier ;)

Very nice though and certainly no complaints from me.

+1 again for the playing. If we had a smiley for envy I'd add it here.

lol...well I kicked in some raunch for the solo at least...the track lent itself to a smooth jazz thing. But it shows off the clean & dirty tones in that 10.5 pound beast...

no, that cherry burst weighed too much and had a slim 60s profile neck. My new-to-me goldtop weighs a full pound less and has a neck profile right in between a 50s baseball bat and slim 60s...perfect!

Hi paul,

Welcome to the HOC.

Nice playing indeed, great tone.

Would I be correct in saying that you are a Carlton / Ritenour fan ?

Shades of Jeff Beck in there too I think.

Welcome to the Club!  Thanks for sharing your song, I liked it...very mellow, laid back, perfect for the moment.  +1 for posting yourself playing!

thanks! Yes, always liked Carlton & Beck, not so much RItenour, always reminded me of Richard Simmons, lol. I'm a big Dave Gilmour fan also.

Indeed very nice to actually HEAR somebody play something!

Went to your soundclick and saw some similarities with what I like to play.

Will get back to it later (I'm at work now and listen to you through tiny laptop speakers...)

Very very nice - love the clean tones on the 150.  The use of octaves near the middle of the song, nice use of space and melody - very cool.  Thanks for posting!
