Did I make a mistake? (Pot shafts)

I ordered a wiring kit:

I'm very new at guitar technical info, and was wondering if the long-shafts will fit in my Heritage 157? It already arrived so if it doesn't fit it means I will have to return it and order short-shafts. Thanks guys!

you may have to use extra washers inside the control cavity on those pots....the shafts will definately be too long

Agreed, except you might want to contemplate if the return shipping costs justifies the return. Mojotone is great to work with and I'm sure they will take them back, but shipping will be on your own dime.

 

Brents idea might be worth a shot first... though using a second nut to set the depth might work better then washers.

There is nothig wrong with the pots, they will work in your 157. I recently used G brand longshafts in a rewire no probs.
