smurph1 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Which Heritage archtop models (past and present) are laminated top versus carved solid top? the only one I know for sure that has a Laminated top is the 535..I'm sure there are more..You might go to the website..It's all listed there..It's funny I let a friend of mine play my 535 last friday night, and he said quote " I really like this a lot better than a Gibby 335 cause it has that solid top..it's not laminated..It sounds so much better..Then I told him it was laminated too..He looked at me like I was crazy, and said "How is that possible?" I said simply.."It's better quality construction..Much more handwork and attention to detail"..He was amazed!!

Not a big deal though as they more than make up for it with their quality instruments. I was hoping Spectrum13 would weigh in here!

The R.C. floating block but listed in the hollow section but the Prospect is listed as a semi. The website descriptions continue a long history of basic info... and a photo. For more detail call your dealer or visit the HOC.

The new site is positively cutting edge, compared.

Gitfiddler Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Another question about Heritage semi's...Aren't the sides all solid wood and not laminate constructed?
Kuz Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Another question about Heritage semi's...Aren't the sides all solid wood and not laminate constructed? Yes, every model has solid wood back & rims.
