picknpaw Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I have a 1994 H150 CM Heritage Gold Top that i bought approx. 10 years ago that was included in with a PA Sound System. It was played for about 3 years then put away. It is in great condition. I am interested in selling it and have NO IDEA where to start for a asking price. I can post pictures. Just looking or some suggestions or ideas. Thanks!
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 A good starting point might be Ebay, search completed auctions for the H 150. I am not sure if Goldtops go for more or not. Somebody else might be able to provide that info. I would love to see pics of it if you would post them on the site here. What kind of shape is it in overall? Any issues?
602a Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Guys went for 1500 last week but it was in showroom plus condition. There is another for sale here for 800. This is mine I sold 3 weeks ago for 1300 in perfect shape with Duncan 59"s in it. Post some pictures and let people make your week.
tbonesullivan Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 definitely put up some pictures. Ebay prices are all over the place. Heck some awesome recent model H150CMs went for under 1K in the past few weeks.
picknpaw Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Finally got pictures up. Any advice on a asking price would be helpful. Thanks!
FredZepp Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Nice. So it's a 1994 150 goldtop (all gold) with schaller pickups and hardware. It's unusual that it's a dot neck and not trap inlays, have you looked at the label in the control cavity? ( is it a 150 Special , 150P, or 150 )
picknpaw Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Thanks Fred. I just pulled the cover and it says H-150 P Gold Do you have any other suggestions or feedback on the guitar? What is something like this worth or should i say, what should i ask for it? Thanks! Nice. So it's a 1994 150 goldtop (all gold) with schaller pickups and hardware. FredZepp Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 As you know the selling market is difficult right now.. but if I were to guess, I'd say a H-150P goldtop in very good condition with case would have a low price of $700 and a high price of $1,100. And would likely sell for $800-900. the 150P is a slightly less expensive version of the H-150CM and doesn't have the maple cap. The gold finish is an upgrade. From the 1992 catalog...
dmedlock Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 definitely put up some pictures. Ebay prices are all over the place. Heck some awesome recent model H150CMs went for under 1K in the past few weeks. Like the one I recently got off eBay...I still feel as if I stole it.
