Halowords Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 This is a two-parter. I'm planning on getting a custom Prospect built w/ the full center block. However, the Blues Deluxe that was listed on an earlier thread calling for used Prospects is also calling my name. I am considering getting the Blues Deluxe AND the custom and either selling the Blues Deluxe down the road, or keeping it and setting it up differently. If I could somehow keep both, how much different ground could they cover (both being structurally, well, identical)? Would it be worth it, or should I just get my Custom Prospect (that should look and sound amazing, I keep drooling over the layout and finish I have in mind for this thing) and put that BD money in the bank until I actually need something radically different? Sorry, I've been kind of going back & forth. Just looking for objective opinions from outside (and unbiased [well, maybe]) sources. At any rate, I'd definitely be open to opinions. And if the Blues Deluxe listed doesn't make sense in my predicament somebody buy it please? It's just taunting me with its Almond Sunburst finish and it's flame maple pickguard and that D-VIP setup and those shiny covered pickup covers and....
