When I opened the case at the dealership, my jaw hit the floor. The finish and paint job was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. The 59's sound clear as a bell. I can't say enough about how excited I am.

Hey, JTurbo, that is one beautiful 157 you got there!!

What were your custom order specs...Pickups, Weight? Neck carve?

I didn't really have custom specs persay, I just wanted them to build something specifically for me :D I spent some time going back and forth between SD 59's and the Seth Lovers, and I ended up going with the 59's. I opted not to have the pickguard because I think it is a little distracting from the overall paint job which was the right choice for me. But, if I change my mind, they did include it in the case, so that's always an option. Not sure on how much it weighs, I'm a sit down player for the most part anyway, so that is not too much of an issue. However, when I did pick it up after handling my G&L's, there was a noticeable difference, but nothing too severe. I'll have to look into that more. As you see, I ordered a premium top, and I think that's where this particular guitar stands out over all other Heritages I have personally seen and handled. In addition to being a superior instrument to my other two G&L's (Tributes), I really consider this to be somewhat of an art piece, it adds a lot of 'wow look at me' factor to whatever room I place it in.
