What I did was voice the guitar to the amp with the JC channel. What I mean by that is to try and match the acoustic tone to the amplified tone. In my case, that has the bass and mids at about 9 o'clock and the treble at noon. The presence is pegged (have a very bass heavy room) and I have both pickups lit. From there, I go to the Blackface and turn the gain up to about 75% (yep, that high) and it gives that nice bark and bite when I lean into it but cleans up decent when I back off. I put in a touch of reverb to wet the sound a bit and then adjust the delay where it does a sort of fast slapback. Done. Glad you dig the tone! Thank you for helping us to learn how to sound better.
