Guest mgoetting Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I got this from Brentrocks tonight. See the For Sale section for pics. Very nice tones without much hiss. This is just like I remember from years ago. It is surprising light and compact considering the 10x4. Thank you, Brent, for another fine transaction.
Guest mgoetting Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I love them, too. Sometimes they're scarce it seems.
kbp810 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I love them, too. Sometimes they're scarce it seems. Outstanding! Interesting on what you say about the weight not being that bad - I had a Blues Deville 4x10 that earned my chiropractor a fixed spot on my speed dial Here's the pics from the for sale post:
big bob Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I made a play for that one.. Obviously did not get it.. glad it stayed close. Congrats
brentrocks Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 You got a great deal on that one Mark and helped out a good friend of mine. that amp new would cost nearly 3X what you paid....i hope you enjoy it.

I have no idea how people use those in studios. I do however know of a local harmonica player that uses one of those amps for his harmonica mic... I thought that was pretty cool!
Guest mgoetting Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Fender says it's 53 lbs. It seems lighter to me for some reason.
rjsanders Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 oo-ooo, an LTD. xlnt. they respond well to different makes & models of tubes, too, i hear. <pun alert> enjoy!
smurph1 Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 NICE!! I have a friend who has one..tone to the Bone!!
yoslate Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I do however know of a local harmonica player that uses one of those amps for his harmonica mic... I thought that was pretty cool! I know one of those, too. I think it's overkill. Mine's a good harp player, but sheesh!
MartyGrass Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I know one of those, too. I think it's overkill. Mine's a good harp player, but sheesh! I don't need to turn it up. I don't want to turn it up. 3 or 4 is loud enough.
FredZepp Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Those 4 x10 's look like fun. It should be quite a lively setup. I keep seeing amps that look like a blast to play , but I certainly don't need anymore. Seems like I'm always fighting the urge to try something new......
