duaneallen Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Quick question for you guys. Anyone know what the SPCL means in the Heritage H-150SPCL is? Thanks.
golferwave Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 H-150 Special. It has a thinner body than a CM and the specs list it as a "hardwood" body, not mahogany. Maple cap, mahogany neck, rosewood board with mop dot inlays. A real nice guitar and lighter because of the thinner body.

I recently got one - the goldtop in the "One is never enough" thread - and I assumed the body was mahogany. Any idea what "hardwood" it is? I like the Schaller roller bridge, though I'm not sure about the tailpiece - the little black hinged string holders almost suggest it started out as a fine-tuner but they forgot to add screws! The Schaller pickups are fine.
