bdpnetsales Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I have acquired a Heritage Little One that very much resembles the one held by Brent Henderson on the Little One Owners Club. It comes with a nice case and is in mint condition. I cannot find a serial number which bothers me a little. I want to put this up for sale buy I really don't know what the value is. I tried to post pictures but all my files were to big to upload. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
mark555 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 To be honest with you, it's worth what any one will give you for it, there is not much demand for them. Unless Brent..... Try e bay. Are you joining us to become part of our community? If you are, welcome.
H Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 One of our forum members, mgoetting, sold one of these fairly recently. He may weigh in with some advice with any luck
tulk1 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 One of our forum members, mgoetting, sold one of these fairly recently. He may weigh in with some advice with any luck That was Brent's before Mark had it, wasn't it?
Guest mgoetting Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 They don't have serial numbers. The control panel plate will tell you which Little One you got. You'll have to take the plate off to read it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same guitar.

H Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 We share stuff it turns out. Hopefully not Brent's famous Nut Sauce
koula901 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Hopefully not Brent's famous Nut Sauce You bad boy! Btw, forgive my ignorance, but what IS The Little One? Are you referring to the H 137 model?
mars_hall Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 The little one is a traveler's small guitar created for Gerry Gessie. It is multi-ply in red/white/and blue laminates and fairly small http://adirondackguitar.com/lefty/heritage/gessie.htm
Guest mgoetting Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 That's a beaut!! Lots of Mojo there..B.B. King would be proud!! By the way creme binding is the bomb!! Little Lucille. Little One is a serious guitar that no one will ever take seriously.
rjsanders Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 here are some Little Ones. early ones were solid maple or poplar (mine, #13, was maple w/HRW) and had one pickup & a vol control. later ones varied w/dual pups, the flag model, etc. there weren't many. when i ordered mine, Ren told me he did jazz gigs with his. anyway... (o, btw, the insurance company valued mine @ $1100, IIRC)

koula901 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Little Lucille. Little One is a serious guitar that no one will ever take seriously. See, now if I had that little one, it would be easy for me to fly to Chicago with it - just put it in the overhead compartment, no need to buy a flight case, etc.

rjsanders Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I did just that. Plus I could play it easily in the car on long trips. strapped mine to the sissy bar & harley'd it to Iowa & back. my cousins back there got a big kick out of it. gigged here once with it (Allmans, blues, rootsy stuff). during a break some guy comes up & says, "i really dug what you were playing" "thanks, man" "uh, what *is* that instrument you've got, what do you call it?"
schundog Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 You bad boy! Btw, forgive my ignorance, but what IS The Little One? Are you referring to the H 137 model? Brent hasn't shown you his Little One?! He's quite proud of it, and likes to show it to anyone who will look.
rjsanders Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 note the Heritage is plugged in to a Heritage (Softail, FLSTC)
kbp810 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 note the Heritage is plugged in to a Heritage (Softail, FLSTC) If I'm not mistaken... it looks like the Heritage is actually powering the Heritage Softail
