koula901 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Little Lucille. Little One is a serious guitar that no one will ever take seriously. That's so cute!!!
koula901 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I did just that. Plus I could play it easily in the car on long trips. While steering with your toes?
koula901 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Brent hasn't shown you his Little One?! He's quite proud of it, and likes to show it to anyone who will look. ROFL!!
mark555 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 The little one is a traveler's small guitar created for Gerry Gessie. It is multi-ply in red/white/and blue laminates and fairly small http://adirondackguitar.com/lefty/heritage/gessie.htm And I think it is awful.... but that's only my opinion, there are of course other opinions available, as they say on the BBC.

koula901 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 You have to love an exhibitionist Yes, This is the time of year one hangs Christmas tree lights on The Little One, for all to see.
bdpnetsales Posted November 22, 2010 Author Posted November 22, 2010 Thanks to everyone for your help. Probably will list it on ebay unless Brent buys it!

Guest mgoetting Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 That TRC will have to go. Or will it?
brentrocks Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 That TRC will have to go. Or will it? Well, "carly" pawned this guitar several months ago according to Phil, but stopped making payments on it, so Phill needed to get it gone! ...maybe i should leave it on as a tribute to "carly's" strayed devotion to the Heritage brand?
tulk1 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Did you get the case with this one, Brently? And you still have the flag little one, too? Thought you'd sold it. But then, it's hard to keep track.
Guest mgoetting Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Here's the history of the Red, White and Blue Little One that was on HOC a few months ago. I bought it from a shop on the west coast. Ren tinkered with the setup a bit but not more than a couple of minutes. I bought the last Heritage case for it in the factory. Brent got it from me, but I missed it. Mercifully he returned it to me. A few months later I sold it. It was posted for weeks on HOC but finally sold via eBay. Last I heard it was heading to Singapore. Carly is a different guitar but the same model. The Little One is a very cool guitar. The design and build aspects are masterful. It sounds good, too. It sounds especially good because no one really expects much from its small size. I don't think we will be seeing them as RIs soon. But maybe someday there will be those who will languish over the nuances of the wood, the dyes, and the switches. Now that would be a hoot!
koula901 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 mgoetting Thanks for the history . . . it's funny, I'm left with the sense that these Heritages are like our children, and we're keeping track of all the foster homes they go to! Oh, BTW, welcome to the HOC, newbie! I guess the mafia got Marty Grass, eh! RIP Marty Grass.

Fernando Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I have acquired a Heritage Little One that very much resembles the one held by Brent Henderson on the Little One Owners Club. It comes with a nice case and is in mint condition. I cannot find a serial number which bothers me a little. I want to put this up for sale buy I really don't know what the value is. I tried to post pictures but all my files were to big to upload. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Are you still selling? What are you asking for it?
