I think that's a Dark Almond Sunburst.

Of course, when you call in the order you could also tell them you'll send them a picture and send them that photo so they know what color you're looking at and have a specific example to draw from (which should work very well if you want that that end result for your guitar). Plus if I'm wrong, they could tell you what finish it is and then recreate it on your guitar without relying on my (potentially) wrong information. Although I DO think that is a Dark Almond Sunburst, just saying for the sake of playing it safe and all.

Best of luck w/ your order!

Well, seems we can't be 100% sure. But I'm 99% sure that is Old Style Sunburst, shown as OSB in the color charts.

Here's the finish sample page over at Heritage:

I somehow came to the conclusion that the OSB finishes had a black burst, while the Almond and Dark Almond Sunbursts had brown (medium and dark tints, respectively) for their bursts.

But again, I could be off on that, and Tulk1's probably owned and been around a lot more Heritages than I have, so he's speaking more from direct experience than me.

I think I tend to agree with Kenny's assessment of OSB, though a very Dark ALSB may come close. A lot depends on your monitor.

The difference is mainly the ALSB has more reds in the lighter area and the OSB has more blacks in the darker area.

Go to the Gallery and do separate searches for OSB and ALSB to judge for yourself.

Maybe upon ordering, send a physical color print of the finish you want and not an electronic image.

Wolfe's has two Golden Eagles listed on Gbase. One is Dark Almond Burst, the other is Tobacco Burst. They look similar, subtle differences in the shading.

Heritage Guitars on Gbase Page.

Definitely let them know you are ordering and send a copy of the photo to them. They can then work on matching the color.

Mark (mars hall), Kenny, and skydog are dialing it in for you. The difference in the two colors being discussed is, as Mark has noted, the presence of red shading in the ALSB, its absence in OSB, and the darker aspect of the burst in OSB. skydog has picked a good example in his photo. It looks, at first glance, that there might be a hint of red in that particular burst. A slightly more careful look shows that there just isn't any red there. Conversely, in many ALSB's, the red may, at first, not seem to be there, but if you look just a bit more carefully, or turn the guitar only slightly, there it is. This characteristic is one of the cool things about Heritage guitars, which lends to their character. When I spec'd my ALSB Super Eagle, Ren cautioned me that colors could (would) vary from instrument to instrument, depending on who was finishing that day and, more particularly, the different ways various pieces of wood take the color. The wood was the big variable. In any event, one look at the gallery shows Heritage's colors and finishes to be just beautiful!

I'd go with Dark Almond as well, the giveaway for me is the red, especially on the pickguard. As all ready noted Old Style burst has no red at all.

For comparison purposes only, (yeah right!), my 575 in OSB

I agree again with Tulk1, OSB.
