What is the difference sound-wise between an Eagle and a 575 Mahogany?

Hi. I was thinking of getting a 575 mahogany, and was wondering if anyone knows the difference tone wise between this and an Eagle with Spruce top, Mahogany body and neck with floating pickup?

Do you think because the woods are the same that they are close in sound?

Anyone own either/both of these? Please give me your opinion.
