totonka Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 If I suddenly fell into some money, I would make all of these mine.
FredZepp Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Nice selection there... There's always another Heritage on the horizon.
MartyGrass Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I can't tell what the second one it. Rosewood, thin, single pup. Is this one of the Burrells?
Patrick Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I think my vote would be for the 2 blonds. That 535 is just oozing vibe. The Golden Eagle seems to be a transitional guitar. It still has the bridge base with the birds inlaid . . . but the neck binding is only 2 layers of WBWBW. Must be an '06 or '07 model. I wish I could get a better look at the back. It's definitely beautiful .. . . and a guy can never have too many beautiful Golden Eagles in his stable.
Assumer Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I'd make the H-157 my top priority! I have to agree
brentrocks Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 that is a nice selection for a shop to have...looks like their prices are a little on the high side?
FredZepp Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 that is a nice selection for a shop to have...looks like their prices are a little on the high side? That's likely just their "room to negotiate" price. ... but there's only one way to find out.....
JohnCovach Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 That 555 looked at me like it wanted me to adopt it. They're so cute when they do that.
Kuz Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Hauer Music in Dayton, OH. It's about 15 mins from me and where I take my guitar lessons. Jim Hauer is on the high side but can be talked down (sometimes). Those are his "retail" prices. And yes, that is my old Golden Eagle that I couldn't give away for $2500 here. He bought it from me for that price. I originally got it in a multiple instrument trade. The 575 Spruce Mahogany looks a little primitive & rough to me. The missing pic of the Sweet 16 Natural, is the one I'd like to have of the bunch. Oh, and I forgot to mention all of those guitars except the 555 are USED. They are mostly dead mint but used. Again, don't let the prices scare you, he will deal. Throw out my name, it might help.
mark555 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 John, if you think those prices are high, the nearest Heritage dealer to me charges the following prices: H150CM - £2000 H535 - £2400 H170 - £2700 H555 - £3000

bobmeyrick Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 That's got to be High End Guitars, what an ironic name Justin's a great guy but he won't haggle Wow, if it is High End Guitars, he's increased his prices dramatically since last year - I got my 535 for £1800. I just looked at the website and I see he doesn't put the prices on the pics. Perhaps it's a case of "If you have to ask the price you can't afford it."!
H Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I only know of two Heritage dealers in the UK - High End in Nottingham and Jam Guitars near Bristol. High End have a good selection but they're not cheap.
