MartyGrass Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Best price I found is Amazon.com. $1.99. I ordered a couple and will report back. I never, I mean never, thought I would pay to get a Wedgie.
Kuz Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I really LOVE my pick holder...... my mouth or my pocket. It works really well. I hardly ever lose the pick (from my mouth or my pocket).

schundog Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 i always keep 2 or 3 in my wallet...just incase i run into a guitar in my travels I'm glad you practice safe guitar, Brent, but they DO leave those tell-tale indentations in your wallet you have to explain later....
GuitArtMan Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I really LOVE my pick holder...... my mouth or my pocket. It works really well. I hardly ever lose the pick (from my mouth or my pocket). I know a guy at church whose son does that - he's been rushed to the emergency room not once, but twice for swallowing the pick and it getting lodged in his throat. The kid is lucky to be with us. I'll hold mine with my lips, but never put it all the way in my mouth.
tulk1 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I chew guitar picks at every show. I sometimes wonder how grossed out the audience gets when I pull the pick out of my mouth and start using it. Our other guitar player uses the mic stand pic holder - the long one you can slide several in to. I use a mic stand cup holder with a platform to hold the picks and the capos. And occasionally a beer.

DetroitBlues Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I've seen some people put those multiple pick holders on the back of their headstock. Others also put picks under the pickguard if you have a tele/strat/sg style guitar. I can play pretty good without one and with thicker picks, like the V-pick, I never drop one anyway...
JeffB Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Ive never dropped a pick. Ever. The 1st pick I pull out of my pocket at the start of a gig is the one I use all night. Has to be that way. Its not an OCD type thing.......well, it didnt start out as one at least. I always have a stack of spares, but after all this time I would be stunned for a second if I did drop the pick. Id probably stop the band and tell them, "hey guys, I just dropped my pick. Its the 1st time ever. Ever. WTF. Maybe we should all go home to be with our families and loved ones before the end happens or the alien insect Overlords enslave us with their mind powers. Whatcha reckon? hey?" Its quite a weight of responsibility. Hope you guys appreciate it. I mentioned it to a guy once and he suggested I should stop playing or maybe stop using a pick. But I kind of like the fact that I'm gambling with everyone's lives and the world could end on my bum note. So...yeah...

MartyGrass Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 I like a place to park my picks. This may work better for me than the Dunlop stick-on holders. We'll see.
