schundog Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Lyle's recent purchase of a similar 535 to mine got me motivated to clean up my 535 a bit with some Virtuoso cleaner. I couldn't BELIEVE how much better my guitar looked after some elbow grease with this fantastic product. This is my most "worn" Heritage, and rightly so, it's a joy to play! Anyway, I thought I'd show a shot of the back after a clean up, no polish...

I have the cleaner and polish on my Christmas list.
LK155 Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Schundog, I told you before, your 535 is nothing at all like mine. Sure, they're both 1996 models, and they're both kinda red, but someone stole your pickguard, replaced the white switch tip with a black one, put oddball pickups in it, and didn't get the label signed by all the owners. But wow, it has a beautiful back. Is the front equally flamed? And is your binding white or cream? Hard to tell. Excellent ax. Sure would like to see a pic of your fretboard, so I could see the neck binding. Lyle

Why are some labels signed by the owners and other aren't. I don't think any of my 4 Heritages are signed, even the Milli LE.

Also, I've got nibs on my frets, leading me to believe Patrick is right, "No doubt in his military mind" (wow, I hadn't heard THAT statement in 20 years!) it's probably a refret, but that's probably a good thing for you.

Guest HRB853370 Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Guitar Center would be one place Thanks Mars, but I hate GC. There MUST be another source.......... Usually I can find anything that GC sells, on the Bay!

It and Lizard Spit do not leave smears.
