aarsvold Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I just recently bought myself a used h-150 which originally was equipped with 2 seymour 59s. Since the former owner has replaced the bridge pickup with a tremonti treble pickup I want to turn the guitar closer to its original state. To do this my plan is to install two Seymour Antiquity humbuckers. Because the former owner has done these changes I mentioned, I no longer know how this particular guitar should be wired and therefore I ask you. Does any of you have pictures and wiring diagrams showing how it should look like when finished? Any other advices or tips are also appreciated since I never have installed a humbucker before. Ive done some soldering though. Heres a pic of how it looks like now:

aarsvold Posted December 6, 2010 Author Posted December 6, 2010 Put cavity in the search field (top right) and pop down from Forums to Gallery for search Thank you for your advice, i found this picture taken by you? So, it seems now that this is something I might not do myself after all. The resaon is that yellow thing (capacitor?) which the guitar shall have 2 item of and not one as I have. Do I need a special sort or are they all the same. I mean, do I have to tell a guitar tech what i want or is it obvious for him?

Typically they are .02uF for humbuckers with 500K pots. Available at radio shack or online. Shouldn't be too hard to do.
