freshmattyp Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Hello everyone, first post. I picked up my new H-535 today, and I couldn't be happier. After looking at the available options and being somewhat underwhelmed, I found out that a local shop was a new Heritage ndealer. It was love at first sight. It's a 2008 in Antique Sunburst with Seth Lover's. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c226/freshmattyp/Guitars/IMG_4983.jpg[/img] http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c226/freshmattyp/Guitars/IMG_4982.jpg[/img]
Dick Seacup Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Welcome to the Club! Pics on the first post is always a step in the right direction. Another great looking Heritage, to boot!
fxdx99 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Hey, way to make an entrance, freshmatty. A beaut of a 535. Gotta be a tone monster! What amp, what kind of music do you use it for? Congrats on the new guitar and welcome to HOC!
freshmattyp Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 My main gigging amp is a Fender Cyber Deluxe. I also have an Ampeg J12T and a Microcube. My current band is americana-ish country blues and anything else we can think of.
slider313 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Welcome and nice to have you aboard. Great guitar and that's a real nice finish. The Seth Lovers are a perfect compliment to the semi solid design.

High Flying Bird Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Welcome. I am sure that guitar sounds as good as it looks.

freshmattyp Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Thanks for making me feel welcome here. I'm extremely pleased so far, and I can tell this is going to give my Ric 360 serious competition to be my #1. Decisions decisions...

freshmattyp Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Dude, I LOVE your walter Sobchak picture as your avatar!!! oh the guitar is cool too! The Dude abides.. "I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners. Shoosh. I sure hope he makes the finals." Since I bear a passing resemblance to Walter, it seemed only appropriate.
Peter Cl Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Nice guitar! and Walter rules. Not so sure about the armchair, though. White or beige would have been better
Gitfiddler Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Welcome aboard the good ship 'HOC'! Great finish on your H-535!!!!!! The more I hear about Seths, the more I'm GAS'n for a set to check out in one of my Heritages! (Does it EVER end?!)

DrFrankStein Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Sweet! Welcome aboard. By the way, this board is a much better source of high quality photos of models and finishes than the official Heritage site.
