Sometimes the factory stock pups are identified inside the control cavity cover. Have you removed that yet?

If I'm not missing something, and I could be while speedreading, there is a picture of the label on the previous page.

True, and it seems to contain just the model and, presumably, serial number from the limited view afforded. Additionally, I believe someone earlier identified the pickups as Carvin items.

Thank you for your answers.

I haven't removed the control cavity cover yet - and I also don't dare to.

But what makes you think, they are Carvin PUs? Is there a related thread?

Hi Klaus, look at the post in this thread from GitFiddler dated 27 Dec 2010. That's where the Carvin information comes from.

Your guitar hasn't got a control cavity cover. The pots, etc, are loaded through the pickup routes or the f-holes. Solid body Heritages have a plastic plate at the rear to allow access to the pots, etc. This plate has a sticker on it showing the model details and serial number. Your sticker is visible inside the f-hole on the bass bout. Sometimes this contains pickup information.

Oh, and a belated welcome to the HOC from another European member :)
