H Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Ahh yess...i remember my first, it was the summer of '86, on a church youth group trip to Cedar Point........ Remember Brent, it doesn't count if you were alone
dharv53 Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Re: "My First". Please forgive my ignorance, but can anyone tell what pickups are in this one? I don't know if it's relevant, the serial # is N34601. And, if I am reading the serial number key correctly, it was the first H535 built on Jan. 19,1997. Thanks.

schundog Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Welcome, Dharv! You are well on your way with that Heritage, a Strat and a Martin acoustic. Probably all a man would REALLY need... But we don't talk that kind of crazy talk around here! Before you even get that beautiful 535 delivered, may I suggest you start digging around your local stores and/or the web, seeing why you can't possibly live without a Telecaster and a H150/Les Paul type. Hmmm, I don't have a H150 yet either... Trust me, though, it WILL happen! Seriously, enjoy your new guitar, it's beautiful, and my favorite model from Heritage. As to Brent.... I can relate to church camp love. I'd love to have a picture of my 14 year old face in the early 80s when an amorous United Bretheren girl from Leaf River, IL, whipped me around outside the Tabernacle at church camp, and laid a big sloppy french kiss on me. A definite guilt/pleasure moment for this then-puberty crazed kid!
