Im trying to know wich pickups this guitars comes with, because i`ve checked on the guitar and i couldnt find that info. If anyone have info on this, i would appreciate it. The serial number is R05704.

Thanks a lot.

The dot on the pickup selector switch indicates they are HRW pickups. Next time you change the strings, take out one of the pickups and look at its base - that should tell you if they're Schallers or HRWs.

Good catch, missed that. HRWs are Schallers with a secret ingredient.

To the original poster who might not be that familiar with Schallers and HRWs:

It may have been stated elsewhere here before and I honestly only did a quick glance of this thread before writing but technically speaking, HRWs are Schallers that Ren Wall has personally modded. HRW=Heritage Ren Wall.

They will have a special sticker on the bottom. The upper pics is an HRW and the lower is the standard Schaller.

If I were to guess what this mod entails, and this is only a guess, I would say that it probably includes a magnet swap and/or un-potting of the pickup (removal of some, not all, of the internal wax). I say this because the HRWs are said to have a higher frequency content and, short of rewinding which would have to be executed outside of Parsons Street, this would be the one way to accomplish this result.

Great info. When i bought this guitar over ebay i didnt know a lot about Heritage guitars, i mean, i knew their history so i give it a go. I made a "blind" purchase, and i must say that this guitar realy impressed me. Its a great guitar and im playing her all day. Thanks mars_hall for the additional info. When i plugg the guitar it really sounds great, no need for pickup change, but i wasnt sure about wich pickups they were.

Thanks to all.
