Accuracy refers to realistic frequency content reproduction and in the context of speakers, efficiency refers to well a system uses its available power. It's like How big is the hammer needed to drive the nail in the wood versus Can you hit the nail without missing it.

jjkrause84 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Maybe relevant, maybe not: Going from a G12H30 (103dB) loaded amp to a G12M Heritage (96dB) loaded amp was a SHOCKING difference. I had to crank the new amp to keep up with the onld on '2'.
