602a Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 She will be here tomorrow. Can't wait. Made a error in judgement by selling my first VSB to another member and have looked high and low to replace it. Finally found one I like with the looks to make a great addition. New set of Duncans waiting for her and maybe a trip for a little fret dressing. Aluminum wrap around Tone Pro tail piece and a set of Grover Tulip tuners along with a couple of Bumble Bee caps and she will be ready for the dance. Oh yea she was ordered with a Slim neck like a 60's. Oh well we shall see how she does in the warm La weather. More to follow
mtpatty Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 DO NOT SELL THIS ONE TO ANYONE (except me)...heehee...
FredZepp Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 That's quite a looker... That should make for some fine pics....
TalismanRich Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Glad to hear you found one to replace your wayward VSB. I don't have to worry about that.. I'm keeping mine! Let the kids sell them when I'm gone.
H Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I guess we'll soon be welcoming you back to the Heritage H-150 VSB Club Very, very nice guitar. If I didn't already have mine, I'd want yours

More to follow Perfect, I agree with everything you just said about in my humble opinion, the perfect 150, VSB of course w/Duncan Pearly gates & TonePro Aluminum tailpiece, Tulip tuners but you may want to look at the TonePro/Kluson Tulips before you decide. They are much improved over the originals. Bumblebees. Rock on, I'll be right with ya

MartyGrass Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Frank, I'm glad you found one with that elusive 60s slim taper neck.

Glad you're taking care of her but she's just another model in the Michigan 150 Bunny Ranch now. She's lost her own identity. She once was special but now she's just another photo op. Like the old saying goes" You Marry a nice girl but for a fun time you get a Tramp"

If I could find her mouth, I'd wash it out with soap. What kind of manners did you teach her?

MartyGrass Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 She must be picking that up from you or one of the other girls. If the new one is a Tramp this must be her all out slut older sister At least she's popular. You know what they say, better to be wanted for murder than not wanted at all. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to send ole Pearly away for some convent time for her evil behavior. I just hope she's not a bad influence on the nuns.

Keep expecting to see "its here" Me too looks like all the wonderful weather up north has put a delay on it. Hope it won't sit too long on a cold truck or in a warehouse. Gonna take everyone's advice and let it sit for 3 days before I open it.

MartyGrass Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Hey! Language, language! There are children on this forum. At least we act like it. Now back to my brothel.
H Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Tulip tuners but you may want to look at the TonePro/Kluson Tulips before you decide. They are much improved over the originals. +1 I have them on all my Heritages. They use the existing Grover hole without bushings and use the existing screw hole. You'll just need to drill an extra screw hole per tuner. Take look in my gallery for the results.

They are "New Vintage" aged but with higher ratio of gears and tighter than old ones.
