bolero Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 well, I finally had some time to plug this thing in & jam a bit...I really like it the maple neck/body adds a bit of bite that my 535 doesn't have, so I think they complement each other well started out quiet then turned up the gtr volume for some fitting Neil Young ( tune I'm learning ), as this reminds me of his old white falcon, in a way did some crazy bigsby dives & it stayed in tune pretty good too http://www.ummagumma.hostzi.com/guitar/jamz/ just gtr & an old tube amp...and as usual, excuse the sloppiness! heh still can't get the pics off my GF's phone, grr...but here's one from the original sale
mars_hall Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Sounds very nice and a good example of Seths. I need to get me a Millie
tulk1 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Love the Millies. Very very nice tone. What "old" amp? It breaks over quite nicely. And those are Seth's, eh? Mmm, mmm, mmm!
fxdx99 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Oh yeh - what they all said. Nice chime in that tone, pretty guitar, and some tasty playing. Can't go wrong with Heritage and Seths.
koula901 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Your millie sounds great! It seems versatile, too.
bolero Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 thx guys! it's an old Garnet from the '60's, kind of like a tweed deluxe with 2x6V6's I threw a celestion gold in there the other day, still breaking it in but I like it so far, had a blue in before they sound very similar
Guest tomdread Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Cool clip. Cool amp, playing and guitar. Yep nice chime and and od keerrrang*. (*=tech speak)
