Is this a factory 2nd?

Personally I don't see a 2 here above the serial #. Just a mess of ink.

But on the other hand I never saw a serial # like this before.

 

Help appreciated!

This one? ... No, it's not a second. It's just one of those years that they placed the Letter above the number instead of beside it. (looks like a "W" to me... )

 

It's interesting that they didn't put the Kalamazoo on this. But that's not a problem either.

I'm sure we'll get second and third opinions here, Guido, but I think that may be just another way of inking the serial number. It's been my experience that in a factory second (I have one) the "2" is stamped(lightly) into the wood, and it is not inked, so that "2" is a little difficult to see in most photographs. You could always e-mail Willie's. That's a couple of nice looking natural 150's, by the way. Nice tops on both, particularly the '99.

Yeah I've never seen that..i'm sure it's authentic though..
