Hi everyone,

I received my first Heritage about a week ago and I've posted a photo.

It's a piece of art and, although I can't play (I'm a newbie/beginner trying hard, in my old age, to learn), it's sure pretty to look at.

It's a 1997 535 Autumnburst with Golden 50's.

Thanks once again to all of you for your counsel and encouragement.

If there's a PSP in 2011, I hope to attend and meet you all.

Dave

Welcome aboard Dave. You picked a beauty to learn on. I started playing at 41 so play every day and it will come!

So, the Hampton is where everyone stays? Do they stay at any other Hotel, or is that it?

There was some sort of precedent set at the Best Western last year. 100 watt Soldano, outside, at midnight, or some such. Wasn't there personally.

I'm sure Bird, Steiner, and some of the other participants would be glad to elaborate.

Be sure to ask about the spooning. Or maybe that was the second year.

Marg and I have stayed at the Comfort Inn Plainwell the last two years, and it's just fine. Close to the barn, and a short run in to the 'Zoo. Beer witin walking distance.

Well, you know, after all, money's no object when it comes to enjoying the PSP experience.

I hope you can make it this year.

Dave, welcome aboard. That photo is good enough to get you in the club even if the guitar isn't yours. Great guitar and photo. I'm sure there will be a PSPIV this year and we all look forward to meeting you.

Thanks for the welcome and the comment on the photo of my new Heritage. I hope to be in K'zoo this summer for the PSP. I want to see where these wonderful guitars are made and to hear you guys play!

Great pic of a great guitar there, Dave.

We can relate to your enthusiasm, as we all feel the same.

No date for PSP IV yet, but stay tuned... hope to see you there.

Thanks very much, FredZepp.

Thanks. I hope I can attend the PSP. I was afraid it would be early August. If the local youth hockey tryouts are that weekend, it'll be tough.

This must be midlife crisis. First a guitar, now trying out for youth hockey. Hmm...

Yeah, it must be. No wonder my wife keeps telling me to "snap out of it".
