FredZepp Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Very nice tone to that gold finish.. if you know what I mean. And it seems like it'll have that warm , vintage growl to it. What a blast !!
golferwave Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Nice new guitar Brent!! ... Gee..It seems like we've heard that before.
tulk1 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Is that your first Gold Top? Can't remember. Would be cool to hear Fralins and Lollars side by side. Cool guitar.
SouthpawGuy Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Brent compared to yours my GAS is in amateur league. And that's saying something ! Congrats and play it in good health.

pegleg32 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Your picture is much better than the original sellers Brent. In his Ebay pic, you couldn't even tell if the body had binding or not. That is a seriously nice guitar. Be sure to let me know if you think about selling it.
brentrocks Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 Is that your first Gold Top? Can't remember. Would be cool to hear Fralins and Lollars side by side. Cool guitar. The Lollars definately have more high end bite. But both are great pups....i think the Lollar Minis are great too
FredZepp Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Good vid, Brent. There was a great variety of tones there.
dharv53 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 WOW!! The Mother Lode!! Sounds as good as it looks!! Congrats!!
Guido Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Brent a wonderful classy looking guitar! I bite myself in the butt for not buying it. I was in contact with the guy, but the pics were not very good. And he wanted 1600$ at that time, which was too high IMO. But again you made it! A great deal for a great guitar. Congrats! (I am jealous)
big bob Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 All right son, just put you hands in the air and step away from the credit card.
koula901 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Brent compared to yours my GAS is in amateur league. And that's saying something ! Congrats and play it in good health. Brently is very Zen about his guitars - never clings to them. He lets them come in, and then lets them go.
yoslate Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Now we're talkin'! Love that one, Brent. A fine acquisition! Is it too much to hope it'll be around at "4"? I'd love to give that one a spanking on a slow blues!!! I miss my '52....
koula901 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I bite myself in the butt for not buying it. This comment is useless without pics!
koula901 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Happy Hendie! Congrats on your new acquisition. That is a fine tone machine. I am curious about your pedal board -- in the far right, it looks like you've added a mini pedal board?
NoNameBand Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Hey Brent, nice catch. What is the color of the back, Natural by chance? Thats the color I want on the back of my VSB 150. How do you like the pups?
JeffB Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Sounds great Brent. Think the clean part of the demo sold me on p90's.......or the Heritage amp. Unsure. The Road killer sounds good with that amp and guitar also.
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Let's see....12 Heritages and counting.......
NoNameBand Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Let's see....12 Heritages and counting....... But do you have a Partridge in a Pear Tree? Nothing worse than an incomplete collection.
