brentrocks Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I just shipped the HAMER standard to Canada this morning.... I enjoy the 150 GT and the 150 Mini hummer a lot more so there was no sence in keeping the HAMER. Not to mention the rest of my Heritages I have come to the realization that HERITAGE are the guitars for me.

koula901 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Happy Heritage Hendie! You DO have the fine collection! All beautiful! I gotta say, my fav, in terms of tone, is the one with the Lollar Mini Hums! That sounded great.
schundog Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Very cool! Excellent collection, but I agree with Paul, you need at LEAST a Semi-Hollow (Which he, ironically, is guilty of buying from you! LOL). Good call on the 525 on the wish list, though. But of course, you already know that. (A couple of times, right?!)

Gitfiddler Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Great Heritage porn, Brent. But as stated, you need to get you a semi-hollow...or another 525 full hollow w/Lollars. You know it is just a matter of time my friend.
tulk1 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I think my faves are the P90 H150 and the H357. Those are both very smart looking guitars. With the H150 Mini's right behind, and not very far right behind, either!! Did I ever mention that I got to play Graham's H150 w/mini's prototype? Very cool instrument.
602a Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I was wondering do you play in a band or do studio work or just collect beautiful guitars?
brentrocks Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 I was wondering do you play in a band or do studio work or just collect beautiful guitars? i used to be in a band in '07 untill a motorcycle accident ended my rock star career. LOL I just love guitars...i'm just a basement jammer now.

That sucks, so does living in La where we don't get to have basements. Stay aways from motorcycles and keep that great collection going. It's a great collection.
602a Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 How can you live without a Tele!? I'll build him a Swamp Blues Tele and leave the headstock Blank.
brentrocks Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 I'll build him a Swamp Blues Tele and leave the headstock Blank. i'm actually looking for a good used Hamer T-51 Tele...from what i read they are dam good guitars!
Millennium Maestro Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 AND..... Whats you address??? Just joking!!! I do remember you were heritage less 13 months ago!! Quite a feat... you have a very great wife!
tbonesullivan Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Soo... how long will this last? It's not that I doubt your heritage commitment, but if a Hamer studio custom in great condition a few towns over for around $1000, would you be able to stop yourself? I wouldn't.
602a Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 And these have come and all but one have gone in the last year. All went to New or older members.
NoNameBand Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Brent, that is an amazing collection of incredible guitars. Your hard work has really payed off. You may have missed out though on Skydog's Blue 535. That one was special. Never mind, you still have time to find a special 535 for you and your wife. Glad you got rid of those nasty Ernie Ball slabs. After reading your story about their forum, I would have gotten rid of them too. Good for you and your principals.
