skydog52 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Purchased this one from that dealer in Paw Paw. You might recognize this one. This one was made by my 357 buddy.
schundog Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Whoot! You Go, Paul! I take it that's Brent's old Double Cut? And are you telling me you got ANOTHER 357?! If so, you ARE the MAN.
FredZepp Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Oh , so that's where Brents DC went to... Be sure to keep those build pics from K-Zoo with it, they document it's history nicely. And that 357... well ... it speaks for itself. Mmmm..
Steiner Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Holy Frejolis! You have TWO 357s AND that 170!??? We need to talk... Nice work SkyDog52!
kbp810 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Well done good sir! I am standing, and I am applauding! (and since I can't seem to find a clapping emoticon at the moment, I apparently am also doing the wave)
skydog52 Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Thanks everyone. Yes that is Brents custom H-137. As always a nice transaction with the wheeler dealer. Whirlwind deal. I called him about it and about 2 hours later we where sitting in a McDonalds on 94 shooting the breeze and realizing, at least I did, I have a Heritge Guitar GAS problem. The H-137 plays and sounds as good as it looks. Loving it! The H-357 I ordered awhile ago and Marv did a great job on it. That was his idea to put the wider mahogany strips in it. This is the first Korina guitar I've owned and I love it. It's lightweight and has a great tone to it. She's a player! I talked to Marv the other day and he has 6 orders pending on H-357s. He even had another one for a left handed model but hasn't decided if he's going to do it because of the retooling he would have to do.
Spectrum13 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 WOW two super super nice additions! All they need are custom truss rod covers...
